Crazy Bear Bikes Ride to the Beach! August 24, 2025
Crazy Bear Day at the Beach!
The Crazy Bears are taking the day off Sunday Aug 24th to ride to the beach and enjoy some fun in the sun! We are riding from the shop 45 miles to Huntington State Beach. (south end near river trail, near lifeguard tower 2) This ride is supported- but you must be self sufficient! -able to change a flat, perform basic repairs, and carry your own supplies, nutrition, and hydration. You also MUST have the route down loaded to your phone or Garmin device. At the finish, we will have a picnic set up with sandwiches and refreshments. With ample stops, the ride takes about 4 hours.
Cost is $30 and additional $15 if you need a shuttle ride back for you and your bike.

The ride starts at Crazy Bear Bikes at 7:30 am Aug 24 and we’ll roll out at 8:00 am sharp. You can bring a small bag of personal items- clothes, swimsuit, etc. that will transported down to the beach. The ride is 45 miles and should take about 4 hours putting us there around 12pm. This a great time to have the family meet you there, spend the day at the beach, and of course, give you a ride back .
We will have LIMITED number of spots to shuttle you and your bike back to Crazy Bear Bikes that must be purchased ahead time.

If you are just coming for the Picnic, meet us at south end of Huntington State Beach. We’ll have our bright green EZ-up . The riders should roll in around noon. It’s the busy season and parking will limited so get there early!
